Track meet

You are about to shoot a sprint at a track meet and your shutter speed is set at 60, which of the following should you do, and why?

You would want to increase the shutter speed because a fast shutter speed is used for high light and stopping action, you would only want a slower shutter speed for low light and or a still shot.
